1972 AMX

Vehicle Description

Car bought from a guy in North Carolina, had been in a storage barn for 27 years, interior is in super nice shape [tic-toc dash, 140 pmh, floor shifter, factory 8 track radio, original door panels with all original AMX emblems

Engine it the original 360 with air and 727 automatic transmission with twin grip differential, front power disc brakes, and power steering.

The exterior: vinyl top was taken to check for rust and none was found, no rust in frame rails or floor ,or trunk.  Only very minor surface rust only.  Has functioning cowl induction hood, original twin grip decal still in trunk. original bumper jack in trunk.

Car was picked up and brought to Fflordia, we cut fuel line at pump, connected temporary fuel feed, filed points, and the car started right up. Oil and trans filter were changed [front seal in trans slight leak] wheels are not original, but look very nice.

Vehicle Condition

Very nice, just needs a good cleaning to get started.  Solid AMX that can either be cleaned up without too much trouble or can be restored to original condition with for a frame-off restoration.  Either way an extremely solid car as is with very minimal rust.
